2014-2015 Concert Season: Musical Stars

Concord Orchestra Annual Benefit Concert

Sunday September 21, 2014  2pm at 51 Walden

Gian Carlo Menotti's radio opera: The Old Maid and the Thief
plus a prelude of popular songs of the '30s and '40s with the cast

You know Robin Farnsley and Ray Bauwens from recent FOPAC productions of Amahl and the Night Visitors and The Telephone. And there was not a dry eye in the house after Robin and Ray sang La Traviata and La Bohème. Now Robin and Ray are joined by Cindy Vredeveld, Pamela Wolfe, and Brad Amidon in Menotti’s delightful and humorous tale of twisted morals. Alan Yost conducts.
